Hoisted in the centre of its platform, Extended brings a rigid structure in motion towards openness from the base moving up. Metal circles weave upwards, leading towards an organic glass sculpture. The glass piece seemingly takes the shape of a circle, transitioning into the timeless movement of waves. Inside the transparency of the glass, fragments of color shimmer in a variety of depth and form, representing the nuances and differences of our experiences. Choosing to encapsulate a circle that melts into itself; the piece sculpturally opens itself to a higher state of being and becoming. The repetition of circles symbolizes an enclosed space, a border between the inside and outside of our perspectives. As humans evolve and mature, we collect these experiences, moving through growth and giving breadth to our understanding. We become malleable and adaptable, and in the form of glass,
